Flushing Industrial Reframe: Making And Living Together

This project transforms a 45-acre industrial area in Flushing into a cooperative urban district where workers and businesses share land, resources, and decision-making.

Led by two grassroots groups, it integrates housing, clean industry, and public space through vertical zoning, green infrastructure, and local economic tools.

The result is a new civic model of shared ownership and spatial justice, where living, labor, and community thrive together.
